Make Your Own Halloween-Themed Fruit Pops
It’s just a week until Halloween…do you have your healthy Halloween treats planned? If not, we have a couple of suggestions, courtesy of and inspired by Kashi! (They sent us the pops and a recipe, which we tweaked for Halloween goodness!) So grab your ice pop molds, and let’s get to making some healthy Halloween treats that are fantastically—and naturally—colored orange, black and blood! Mwahahaha!
Orange Fruit Pop Recipe
Ingredients
3 c orange juice
1 c pineapple juice
1 tbsp shredded coconut
Directions
1. Combine the juices.
2. Add a bit of coconut to each mold.
3. Fill the fruit pop molds with juice and freeze.
Blackberry Fruit Pop Recipe
Ingredients
3 c pomegranate juice
1 pint fresh blackberries
1 tbsp fresh mint leaves, chopped
Directions
1. Combine the juices.
2. Add a few blackberries and a bit of mint to each mold.
3. Fill the fruit pop molds with juice and freeze.
Pomegranate Fruit Pop Recipe
Ingredients
3 c pomegranate juice
1 pint fresh raspberries
Directions
1. Combine the juices.
2. Add a few raspberries and a bit to each mold.
3. Fill the fruit pop molds with juice and freeze.
