Happy Mother’s Day (Week)! (And Our First Giveaway!)

It’s Mother’s Day Week! That’s right. As is the Fit Bottomed tradition in all things celebratory, you don’t just get a day. You get an entire week of fun and giveaways! I don’t know who is more deserving of prizes than the rest of you moms out there who are taking care of kiddos while also taking care of yourselves and your jobs and the dishes and the LAUNDRY, so this week is our chance to give you an internet hug and real pick-me-up with things you might not go buy yourself but that you totally deserve!

First up is a giveaway from Papyrus Online, which is the place to go for beautiful stationery and paper goods. If you’re like us, you’ve never met a paper good or school supply you didn’t like, so when you see something like, these journals, for example, you just want to get your hands on them. Today, we’re giving away two Enchanted Forest coloring books — and the first lucky winner will get a set of Fine Line Color Gel Pens as well. I own both Enchanted Forest and Secret Garden, and the author Johanna Basford knows how to make a beautiful book. The thick paper and the inky details add up to a great coloring experience. Coloring these will take your stress level down a notch or two and transport you to a land where you don’t have to worry about what to make for dinner. (The pens are awesome but note that you’ll need other markers or colored pencils for coloring; the pens are best for only the finest of details.)

If you have artsy kids like I do, this will give you something to do while they’re drawing and coloring. Quality time while you destress? Yep, you know you want them!

To enter, simply let me know why you’d like a copy and consider yourself entered. Winners will be chosen in about a week and notified via email. U.S. residents only, please! —Erin
